DESIGN & USER INTEFACE

Blink Feed
The HTC One is a real unique piece of beauty, with its uni-body, all aluminium, contoured body design with metal finishes on the side. It's definitely the highest build quality on an android phone that I have ever seen. It has a huge HD 4.7" screen with super sharp 468 pixels per inch that beat out even the iPhone five's retina 326 pixels per inch.
HTC adds their new version of the custom HTC Sense UI atop android Jelly-Bean. The UI is clean and easy to use. A new added feature is the blink feed that details all your social media updates onto the screen. There's no way to delete or hide blink feed, and it remains as part of your home screens.

FEATURES
HTC One's Dual Speakers for 'Boom Sound'

The HTC One starts it's long list of features with a blazing 1.7 Ghz Quad-Core processor. There’s also 2GB of RAM inside, plus the standard set of radios and sensors: Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Wi-Fi, DLNA, Miracast, an accelerometer, gyroscope, and GPS. Its power button doubles as an IR Blaster that enables your phone to function as a TV remote. . HTC also bring what they call 'Boom Sound' with dual from stereo speakers that sound better than anything I've heard from a smartphone.
There's NFC to transfer content from one phone to the other and Google Now which in my opinion has better functionality than Apple's Siri. The uni-body design means no removable battery and expandable memory, but with most phones taking on this design nowadays, many people might not care.

WEB BROWSING & MULTIMEDIA
The HTC One ships with Chrome as the default browser and has flash support. Chrome is definitley one of the best mobile browsers with incognito mode, sync'ed bookmarks and a nicely tabbed interface.

Camera Interface
The camera on the One is a 4MP camera that HTC dubs Ultra-Pixel, that's able to gather more information and handle lighting situations better.
It is one of the best camera innovations on a smartphone yet. The camera app has numerous edit on the go functionalities which include HTC ZOE which enables you to delete objects from a photo, bye ugly friends.

CONCLUSION
The HTC One is one of the best android smartphones out there, with incredible features and performance and breathtaking design, it definitely matches up to current competition from the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S4, Nokia Lumia 925 and the iPhone 5.
