Momma Kardashian premiered her new talk show on July 15th to mixed reviews from critics. Personally I was indifferent to it, but I do love the Kardashians so here's to hoping for better episodes ahead. Kris definitely can keep the world talking, why with all the momager experience she's gotten from catapulting her kids into a multi-million dollar empire. The show premiered when the world was a buzz about the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Rumors about Khloe K's divorce from basket ball player hubby Lamar Odom for example swirled out of control just last week before the show aired Monday. This might have been a well laid out publicity stunt, but we can't tell with the Kardashians. On to the show now.

The premiere episode started with Kris announcing the birth of her granddaughter North West. She discussed in detail how Kim's pregnancy had been hard and how she had to be rushed into the emergency room before North's due date and the challenge of keeping the paparazzi out of all the drama. She also cleared up rumors that she banned Kim from leaving the house after her birth and that she(Kim) and baby daddy Kanye West are getting married in Egypt. She claimed all this to be false. But she also did promise that North West wasn't among the considered baby names.

Kris’ first guest was Rocco DiSpirito, who cooked spaghetti and clams, followed by a ‘romantic’ meal with what Kris referred to as a ‘Kris Sandwich.’ Cameron on one side and Rocco on the other side, while being serenaded by Il Vovo. Next up was belly dancing with Mayte, also a Kardashian friend, with the highlight being Cameron without his shirt. And finally, a segment on underwear. What are the biggest underwear problems?

Counting the number of times Kim Kardashian’s name was mentioned in the hour long show -at least 10 times-, it's clear that Kris is still  riding on the tails of her very famous daughter.

Finally a few words from the show, "I want to be an inspiration to somebody," Jenner said. "I want to empower people, especially young women, to feel like they can go out and get it and follow their dream and be successful at any age...I think that people that go through life need to be reminded that they can do it all, if they want it all."
