It is finally here and it is magnificent. Nokia Lumia 1020 has arrived. What clearly stands out is the Lumia 1020's optically stabilized 41MP image sensor that can snap 40MP and 5MP photos at the same time – one straight off the sensor and one after Nokia's Super sampling has been applied. The other 41MP cameraphone - 808 PureView can only shoot one or the other at a time. There's a secondary 1.2MP wide-angle camera.

The main features of the phone are:
Nokia Lumia 1020
  • Main camera sensor: 41 MP, PureView
  • Flash type: Xenon flash
  • Display size: 4.5''
  • Touch screen technology: Super-sensitive touch
  • Processor name: Qualcomm Snapdragon™ S4
  • Maximum 3G talk time: 13.3h
  • Wireless charging: Yes, with accessory cover

Nokia Lumia 1020 can capture videos of up to 1080p resolution and thanks to the high-res sensor it features lossless zoom. You can zoom in up to 4 times in 1080p mode and up to 6 times when shooting 720p video without sacrificing much in terms of quality. Sound is recorded in stereo and is guaranteed to be crisp and deep thanks to the two wide dynamic range microphones on board.

The Lumia 1020 sports a 4.5-inch AMOLED 1280x768 screen with Corning's Gorilla Glass, just as the Lumia 900-series models before it. In our brief time with the screen in florescent and diffuse daylight conditions, images appeared pleasingly crisp and bright. The Zeiss lens, recessed into the unibody polycarbonate shell, is also protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass.

There you've seen it, if you want the perfect images using your phone then Nokia Lumia 1020 is the way to go
